A set of fifteen chromolithograph fern prints from the Fern Portfolio by Francis George Heath (1843-1913) published in 1885.   "The Fern World" which included engraved plates that represented rare and unusual ferns throughout Britain.  They are presented in a muted gold frame with non-reflective glass..

Francis George Heath was a surveyor of the customs within the 'Outdoor Department'. Today, Heath is known as a pioneer of movements within the outdoors because of how he dedicated many years of his life, improving London's green spaces.  Heath inspired Pteridomania, the Victorian craze for collecting and cultivating ferns.
